Most healthy relationships display some unhealthy tendencies at one point or another.  It’s when these unhealthy tendencies are left to fester that they often turn abusive . . .  Threats turn to physical assaults, rough sex turns to rape, annoyance turns to fear.  I believe that every relationship has the potential to turn abusive.  It depends on how healthy the partners are, individually that will determine if healthy changes take place in a relationship, or whether it turns lethal.  Everyone should know about domestic violence and what resources are out there.
