Best practices promoted by researchers and those working in the field promote a collaborative community response to domestic violence that includes the voices of religious leaders.

Leaders from different faith traditions are responding to those who have been abused in their communities and becoming part of the solution to this pressing social problem.  “I Believe You: Faith’s Response to Intimate Partner Violence” is a documentary that includes the stories of religious survivors of abuse as well as the response of different faith groups to their needs.  In this award-winning film, along with other program leaders Nancy Nason-Clark joins Christian, Jewish and Muslim clergy in sharing their wisdom and insights in responding to victims in the aftermath of violence in families of faith.
