What an amazing gift Allan Jones gave Mildred and her mother - to listen,
to believe, to see, to understand, to seek education and the correct and
God-honoring solution.  Would Allan have correctly identified the problem
if the telling signs of physical abuse were not present - or would he, like
many church leaders with insufficient knowledge,  incorrectly suggest marriage
counseling? Properly diagnosing domestic abuse is only possible by
learning the characteristics and signs.  Why do so few take the time to
understand?
